Carrie
Oil 14"x 11"
This is my youngest daughter Carrie. Carrie is smiling
most of the time, but I asked her not to so I wouldn't
have to paint teeth.
Out to Pasture
Oil 24"x 36"
A rusty Buick I saw in a field in northern Arkansas.
I saw it while visiting my wife's home town. It still looked grand.
Queen Mary
Oil 18"x 24"
Just one of many fat geese in Bowie Nature Park in Fairview.
Morning Chores
This old barn was about a block from our house. I wanted to paint it in the snow so I added the figure to tell a story and add color. The barn has since been removed.

Cozy
Oil 24"x 30"
A farm house and barn in Fernvale, Tennessee.
I used strong colors to give a more contemporary look.
Tea
Oil 11"x 14"
I just tried to get the shapes and values.
Spirits
Oil 20"x 16"
I do not like or use liquor, but I do like light shining through a bottle.
Savannah
Watercolor 22"x 30"
I love the shapes you find in boats and ships.
Tugs
Watercolor 15"x 22"
As I was looking for a view of a bridge in Charleston I came across these tugboats.

A commissioned painting for Legends Country Club in Franklin, Tennessee.
Cedar Place
This winter scene is on Hwy. 100 west of Nashville. For years this business has made mailboxes, picnic tables, chairs, swings and doghouses.
